Today is a very special day to all P6 girls in PL because it is our own fair, the P6 FAIR! Some of us were in charge of selling of food, others, games, henna and renting of chalks. Each one of us contributed in one way or another. We worked from 9am to 4.00pm. Although we were a little nervous at first, we still had so much fun in the end. We got used to our jobs and served every single customer full heartedly. Here are some pictures taken after the fair.....

Today, we went to Pasir Ris Park. We had so much fun as it was free and easy. We were allowed to play in the playground or ride a bicycle. Only going near the beach wasn't allowed. We had so much fun playing the "Spacenets" and other little "rides" in the playground. Some even dirtied their skirts to sit on a dish-liked saucer. We were like little children suddenly. Of course, some didn't want all the screaming and shouting so they just watched or played some card games. Then a handful of us rented bikes. Unfortunately, there were some that fell and got injured but they were well taken care of. A couple of us also got bitten by some ants. Adding on, it was raining. Overall, we had loads of fun.....

Today, we went for a Sculpture Walk at Marina South. We saw many famous sculptures. Some of us thought it was super boring but of course, those who appreciates Art would enjoy this trip. Nevertheless, we learnt quite a lot and we must admit that some sculptures are indeed interesting.

On this day, we celebrated the 89th Founder's day cum Prize Presentation. Emily and Delane were choosen to wear the blazer and serve the VIPs. They sure looked professional and serious. While they were serving and being ushers, the rest were seated in the hall listening to speeches and cheering for Jia Hui whom had performed wonderfully last year, making her 1st among all EM2 students. Although it was quite boring at times, we still had fun today. It was indeed a memorable day....

It's been a long, tiring and extremely stressful week. The PSLE written paper started on the 5th and ended on the 10th. For many of us, the papers were much easier than our PRELIMS. Indeed, it is pretty easy but not to be too proud until you receive your results. Hopefully, our class would pass the PSLE with flying colours. Since PSLE examinations are offically over, the rest of the time in school would be spent on play, having fun and going on excursions. On the 12th of October, we will be going to be sculpture walk and admire the beautiful art pieces. I'm sure all of us can't wait for this excursion....

Time really flies. Today morning, we had our PSLE LISTENING. Less than a month till PSLE Written Paper! Our PSLE Listening was quite easy though but the worst is yet to come. The Mother Tongue Paper started at 9am while the English Paper started at 11am. After the exam, we still had to arrange the chairs and desks to its origanal postition. We even had to carry the desks and chairs from the 4th floor to the 3rd. Pheww! Overall, today was a wonderful day for most of us.

Today was Teachers' Day and ACES day! We were playing soccer for ACES day this year. The points system goes this way - WIN : 5 LOSE : 0 TIE: 2. Each class is divided into 4 groups. Then finally, TEAM 1 was being called on to play. Good news, WE WON! 5 points! Then Team 2 and Team 3 also played. WE WON AGAIN! Now, for the finishing touch. Our hopes are all pinned on TEAM 4. After a long session, TEAM 4 scored their first goal. Then another goal! The whistle blew and they won! OUR CLASS ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THIS WHOLE GAME! WE SCREAMED AND SHOUTED AND CHEERED LIKE CRAZY! Just kidding about that. Then we collected our prize, an apple. Healthy eating! After our 45 minutes recess, we went up to the hall for the Teachers' Day Celebration. Xiao Wei and Santhiyaa G. were performing this year. They are suppose to act as a teacher and let everyone guess who they were. Santhiyaa G. was Mrs Logan while Xiao Wei was Hong Lao Shi. YAY! It was a success! Today was definitely fun but maybe not that as we got our Science results. But come on, STAY HAPPY!
HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!

Time passes so quickly. Suddeny, our PSLE English Oral is over but on Monday, it is our Prelims and Composition Paper. Although it is going to be a long weekend but hopefully, we will be spending it wisely. Probably studying or doing revision. Wish us all the best for Prelims!
19/8/05
We had our PSLE Oral Examination today. Some of us had Chinese while some had English today. It is pretty ok ( to some of us ) but some felt the picture was hard to discuss with two teachers, especially when we have never seen them before. Tomorrow will be our English and Tamil Oral Examination and we hope that it would be an easy paper!!

Today was Prelim Listening Examination. We were moved to 5 Gentleness to take the this exam. Unfortunately, Mrs Poh was absent today but luckily, Miss Chua took over. We were quite calm except for some but it went out fine in the end. Hopefully, we will score in this exam and Mrs Poh would come back safe and sound on Monday.

We won the SINGSATION 2005! WE WON! WE WON! WE WON!

8/8/05

Today, we had our Prelim Oral Examination. We were quite excited but at the same time, afraid. While waiting, Miss Lee, our discipline mistress kept us entertained. She told us what we would do for Teachers' Day this year and cracked loads of jokes. Soon, it was our turn to take to Chinese oral. After taking the Chinese, we took a deep breathe and felt more relaxed. Then our break time came. After break time was English Oral time. While some were smiling and less tense, others were reading and practising with our classmates. Time flew pretty quickly and it was all over, FINALLY, but it ain't The End yet.

On Monday, 8th August, we are going to perform our dance and impress the judges with our beautiful voice. We were pretty confident to win the SINGSATION 2005! Competition but, of course, we were threatened by other classes. Nevetheless, we are proud of our whole performance.

We had our Singsation Audition today afternoon and we thought we did great! When we came to our waiting rooms, we thought that the other classes were almost perfect, their clothes, their makeup and some, their face painting. We dressed in red and white t-shirts on top of our pinafores. Although we were quite discouraged when we realized that we were not " fashionable " , we still did our best and the teachers seem to love it very much! We were really elated and we hope that we will be selected for the FINALS on National Day this year!
